Small-town charm prevails in this Guilford community

The small town of Sedalia was created by, of all things, mail. As the story goes, at the turn of the 20th century R.B. Andrews owned a country store that had a post office in the back, which quickly became a gathering place for residents. In 1901, he was given an opportunity to choose a name for the post office. He chose the name Sedalia.
